The Forestry and Palisade Protection Com- mi'.tea of Near Jersey have establ'shed a - travelling library of forestry and recom mended that Bcboale, public libraries J and reading circlts be provided v ith suitable literature on the subject. Ne braska has not many trees to preserv, but more interest might ba taken in Ar bor Day and the planting ot new ones, as well as batter care taken of the trees already in existence. Some interest has been taken in th s eubject by the Vil lage Improvement Association in con nection with its woik among the school children. All locil club meetings have leen omitted during the holidays and but few will occur next week.
