Mr. Zehrung will still control The Funke and his relations with the Peoria bouse will en able him to enlarge his influence and send many a company to Lincoln which otherwise might not stop here. Mr. Carter is now the local manager of The Funke. During his connection with theatrical business, Mr. Carter has made friends of the members of the profession, theatre patrons and the newspapers. It is very fortunate that Mr. Zehrucg has been able to leave so affable and able a gentleman in his place. For the former has made a success of theatrical management and deserves the big, hana some opera house over which he has assumed control.
