The con tracting parties were Mirs Mae Moore, only daughter of Samuel E. Moore and Joseph Hamlin Mallalieu, nephew of John T. Mallalieu of Kearney. At an early hour the church was crowded with gaiTydreseed yeople. During the wait before the ceiemony Miss Given excell ently rendered three soft selections "Marcagt i's Intermezzo,"' "The Evening Star," by Wagner, and West's "Wedding March.' At hiilf psst 6even she started tbe Lohengrin wedding march. At the same time tbe ushers took their place at the head of the bridal party and ap peared in couples in the order named: Messrs. J. C. Mason, W. H. Wheeler of Omaha; John W. Dixon of Nebraska City, R. M. Joyce; Guy B. Hurlbutand Mat! son H. Baldwin. The bridesmaids, gowned in different colots and carrying meteor loses-, entered separated by a dis tance of six feet in the following order: Miss Lucy Griffith, in a dainty light blue gown of satin stripped tulle over blue taffct3 silk, the neck cut round with a bertha of point lace and trim mings of ruffles atd Honiton Uce; Miss Mamie Mallalieu was jjcwnrd in yellow. Tbe bed ice was of sunburst chiffon, de collettst, puffed sleeves, with trimmings of mouBseline and pearl pas'amcn'eries A rich yellow brocade satin skirt; Mis3 Be be Wood was cowned in pink silk mulleover pinktaffeta. The bodice and sleeves were made of a succession of puffings and white lace inserting. The square cut neck was finished with spreading of chiffon and lace rufllings. The skirt had puffs and inserting around the hips and was finished with a French flounce elaborately trimmed as the bodice. MuIIe sash, Miss Mae Burr's pretty gown consisted of a bodice of white satin covered with white liberty chiffon. Around this were narrow stripes or palo green velvet r'.bbon. ar ranged to form a Zouave jacket, running fiom the neck, which was cut low to the want were numerous little chiffon ruf fles. The lorg shirred sleeves had little velvet ribbons between the headings. Green tbffeta fkirt over which fell a sash of white chiffon and ruffles. Miss Henrietta Hollcwbush wore an elabor orate gown of lavender brocaded satin. The bodice was of accordian pleated crepe de chine, with puffed sleeves. The neck, which was cut low and off the shoulders, was trimmed with a pleating tlemen separated and passed to ei her side of tbe cbancsl, leaving space for the maids to take their places between them. The groom and best man, Mr. Sim E. Low. entering from the right, met tbe bride at the altar, wheie the solemn ceremeny was performed by Dr. H'ndman. The bridal procession made their exit by the right ais'e while the Mendehsmn wedding march was being plajed. At tbe residence only relatives and tho bridal party were entertained after the wedding. The Kappa Alpha Theta girls cave a charmiog kensington Saturday after noon at the elegant home of Miss Jane Macfarland. The young ladies spent the afternoon chatting meriily over dainty bits of needlework and in amuse ments such as college girls e' joy. Those present were: Misses Lida Millar. Miss Marian Ogden was a sweet littlo maid of honor. Her gown of tbe Caps Grecnaway stjle reached below her shoe tops and was of white nouscline de soie. She wore a quaintly irranged short veil of tulle. She car ied pink bridesmaid roses. The bride, Miss Moore, appeared with her father, S. E. Moore. Her beautiful blonde beauty appeared to magnificent advant age, set off by the white tulle veil, which fell in graceful folds over a gown of heavy white uatin. en train. Its beauti ful simplicity was completed by trim mings of mouBseline and point lace. She carried bride roses. The bride's entire xedding toilette was the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Scipio Dundy. Miss Anno Spurck of the class of '97 of the State University will conduct pri vate classes in pbysicil training at the Y. M. C. A. gymnasium. The bojH class will meet Monday, Octob3r 11th.. and tbe girls class Tuesday, October 12tb, at 4 p. m., to begin work. The ladies' class will n it begin work until latjr. But it is desired that all those expecting to take the work will register and make arrangements as soon as pos sible with Miss Spurck. The c'ass for women will meet in the forenoon, class for young women 3 to 4 p. mand for chi dien 4 to 5 p. m. Hours for regis tering next week will be from 9:30 to 11 a. m., and 3 to 4 p. m. every day at Y. M. C. A. rooms. All fees are to be paid in advance.
