University Place, in Lancaster county,
Nebraska, to secure the payment of one
certain promissory note, dated April 25,
1889, duo and payable on the 1st day of
Mav, 1894, for the sum of 810,000. There
is now due on said note and mortgage
the sum of 82,030. with interest thereon
at the rate of 10 per cent per annum
.from the 1st day of Mav, 1894, for which
sum the plaintiff prays for a decree; that
the defendants be required to pay the
same, or that said premises bo sold to
satisfy the amount found due. You are
required to answer said petition on or
before Monday, the 17th day of Febru

E. Bradfield, as plaintiff, began an ac
tion against you and other defendants
in the district court of Lancaster county,
Nebraska, the object of which is to fore
close a certain mortgage on the follow
ing land in said county, to-wit:
The west half of the southwest quarter
of section number 31. in town 10, north
of range 7, east of the sixth principal
meridian made by Thomas Sewell and
Florence A. Sewell, dated May 5, 1888,
to secure the payment of a promissory
note of said Thomas Sewell to said
George E. Bradfield for 85,000 on which
there is now due 85 162.15 with interest
from May 5, 1893, at 10 per cent per an
num. Plaintiff prajs for decree of foreclos
ure and sale of said land to satisfy said
liens as aforesaid, for deficiency judg
ment and general relief.
You are required to answer plaintiff's
petition on or before the 24th day of
February, 1896.
