caster county Nebraska, April term,
1895, in the matter of the estate of John
R. Matthews deceased.
To the Creditors of said Estate:
You are hereby notified, that I will
sit at the county court room in Lincoln,
in said county, on the 1st day of August,
1895, and again on the 1st day of No
vember, 1895, to receive and examine all
claims against Baid estate, with a view
to their adjustment and allowance. The
time limited for the presentation of
claims against said estate is six months
from the 1st day of May, A. D. 1895, and
the time limited for payment of debts is
one year from said 1st day of May, 1895.
Notice of this proceeding is ordered
published four consecutive weeks in
The Courier a weekly newspaper pub
lished in this state.

James Muir, Margaret D. Muir, et al,
defendants.
James Muir and Margaret D. Muir,
will take notice that on the 7th day of
February, 1895, Charles E. Waite, plain
tiff herein, filed his petition in the dis
trict court of Lancaster counly, Nebras
ka, against Baid defendants, the object
and prayer of which are to foreclose a
certain mortgage executed by said do
fondants and others to Williard E.
Stewart and by him assigned to this
plaintiff, covering the following describ
ed premises, viz: Lots numbered two
(2), three (3), four (i), five (5), six (G)
and seven (7) in block one (1) in Daven
port's addition to the city of Lincoln in
said county, to secure the payment of
four promissory notes dated July 5th.
1895, each for the sum of 9500 and inter
est thereon from said date. Plaintiff
prays for a decree that defendants may
be required to pay the same or that said
premises may tie sold to satisfy the
amount found due.
You are required to answer said peti
tion on or before the 3rd day of June,
