consisting of 192 wood cuts mainly from
drawings by the author. These are supple
mented with reproductions of drawings by
the celebrated English artists, Millais,
Barnard and Luke Fildes; to these will be
added a series of etchings, drawn and
etched especially for the publishers of this
edition, and photo-etchings from the char
acter sketches of Frederick Barnard. The
text paper is a natural tint laid paper con
taining no filling. The work is bound in
half olive seal leather, seal grain, Roxburg
style, embossed and gold with gilt tops.
