Ged that on August 2, 1894, The Clark
& Leonard Investment Company, as
principal, began an action against you
and other defendants in the district
court of Lancaster county. Nebraska,
the object of which is to foreclose the
following mortgages on land in Lancas
ter county, to-wit:
A mortgage on all of block 5 except
lot number 21 in Maple wood Addition to
Lincoln made by James S. Small to
William M. Clark, dated October 12,
1889, to secure the payment of 90 prom
issory notes of said Small to 6aid Clark
for 81350 each, on which there is now
due 8136L88 with interest from October
12, 1890, at the rate of ten per cent per
annum.
A mortgage on the north half of-block
number 7 and all oflots 21, 22, 2-i and 24
in block number 6 in .Maplewood Addi
tion aforesaid, made by James S. Small
to William M. Clark, dated October 12,
1889, to secure the payment of 48 prom
issory notes of said Small to said Clark
for $1350 each, on which there is now
due S751.G3 with interest from October
12, 1890, at the rate of ten per cent per
annum.
A mortgage on all of block number
8 in Maplewood Addition aforesaid,
made by James S. Small to William M.
Clark, dated October 12, 1889, to secure
the payment of 99 promissory notes of
said Small to said Clark for the sum of
S13.50.each, on which there is now due
8150458 with interest from October 12,
1890, at the rate of ten per cent per an
num. Plaintiff prays for decree of foreclos
ure and sale of said land to satisfy the
liens thereon for deficiency judgment
and general relief.
You are required to answer plaintiff's
petition on or before April 1. 189 .

and testament of Frederick Dahsen de
ceased, is on file in said court, and also a
a petition praying for the probate of
said instrument, and for the appoint
ment of Elizabeth Dahsen as executrix
that on the 12th day of March, 1895. at 9
o'clock a. m., said petition and the proof
of the execution of said instrument will
bo heard, and that if you do not then
appear and contest, said court may pro
