Willard Kimball of the university conservatory of music was given
Tuesday evening. The program was made up mostly trooi modern
composers and was bright and pleasing as well as interesting Tha
composers represented were: Beethoven, Greig, Liszt and Chopin
and a sketch of each was printed opposite his number. The order
was as follows:
Sonata op 27, No 2 Louis von Beethoven
Adagio sostenuto, Allegretto, Presto Agitato.
Two Studies j5;lS;; f - - Frederic Chopin
Fantasie in F minor ... - Frederic Chopin
Sonata op. 46. piano and violin - Ed Greig
Allegro molto ed appassionata, allagretto espressive alt a Romanza,
allegro animate.
Second polonaise ..... Franz Liszt
A character of Mr. Seiveking's playing is the rapid tempo he is
able to maintain. Every number had its merits; his rendition of
Beethoven's sonata, and a poetic selection from Greig were partiolar
ly charming. Mr. August Hagenow assisted in one number, the
Greig sonata. The recital was enjoyed by a largo number.
