of an order of sale issued by the clerk of
the clerk of the district court of the
Third Judicial District of Nebraska,
within and for Lancaster county, in an
action wherein The Clark & Leonard
Investment Company and Ledcrer &
Straussareplaintiffs,and William A.Pike,
et al are defendants, I will at 2 o'clock p.
m., on the lGth day of October, A. D.
1831, at the east door of the court houBe
in the city of Lincoln, Lancaster county,

of a chattel mortgage dated August 27,
1891, duly executed by Thomas Carr in
favor of The Columbia. National Bank,
to secure the payment of the sum of
nine hundred and fifty dollars and upon
which there is now due the said sum of
nine hundred and fifty dollars with in
terest thereon from the 27th day of
August, 1891, and default having been
made in the payment of said sum and
no suit or other proceeding at law hav
ing bden instituted to recover said debt
or any part thereof, and said chattel
mortgage having been duly assigned to
the undersigned Kate Martin, I will sell
the property described in said chattel
mortgage, viz: all the buildings situated
upon the following described land in
Lancaster count), Nebraska, to-wit:
commencing at the southeast corner of
block 513 in West Lincoln, Nebraska;
running thence west 300 feet; thence
north north 300 feet; thence east 300
feet and thence south 300 feet to the
beginning; more particularly known as
the Lincoln Soap Works, or Lincoln
Soap Factory, together with all machin
ery of any kind whatever,tixtures and ap
purtenances, also all material of any and
all kind on hand and contained in and
about said buildings and premises used
in and about the manufacture of soap.
Also all soap manufactured and to be
manufactured in and about said premises
during the continuance thereof. Said
mortgage being on record in book 449
at page 61 of chattel mortgages in the
office of the county clerk in and for
Lancaster County, Nebraska. The sale
to take place on the premises above des
cribed in the county of Lancaster and
state of Nebraska, on the 15th day of
October, 1891, at 2 o'clock p. m of said

Hammond, plaintiff herein filed his pet
ition in the District Court of Lancaster
Cocnty, Nebraska against all'of said def
endants the object and prayer of which
are to foreclose a certain mortgage exec
uted by the defendants Charles W. Gerb
er and Julia L. Gerber to the plaintiff
upon Lot 15 in Block 10, South Park
Addition to the City of Lincoln, Lancas
ter County, Nebraska, to secure the pay
ment of three certain promissory notes
dated June 1, 1891, one for the sum of
$125.00 due June 1, 1892, one for 86.25
due December 1, 1891 and one for $6.25
due June 1, 1892, and there is now due
upon said notes and mortgage the sum
of $166.50 with interest from September
24, 1894 at ten percent per annum.
The plaintiff prays for a decree that
the defendants be required to pay the
same or that said premises may be pold
to satisfy the amount found due togeth
er with en-jig el suit
