The supervisors of registration will meet
for the purpose of revision of registration
of the votere in their respective wards in
the city of Lincoln, Nob., on Friday, March
23; Saturday, March 24; and Saturday
March 31, 1894, and shall remain in session
on each of said days from the hours of 8
o'clock a. m. until 9 o'clock p. m. at the .

Notice is hereby given that the general
city election of the city of Lincoln, Nebras
ka, will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 1894,
for the election of the following officers:
One city attorney.
One police judge.
One water commissioner.
One city engineer.
One cemetery trustee.
Three members board of education.
One councilman for the First ward.
One councilman for the Second ward.
One councilman for the Third ward.
One councilman for the Fourth ward.
One councilman for the Fifth ward.
One councilman for the Sixth ward.
One councilman for the Seventh ward.
The election will be held at the following

You and each of you are hereby notified
that on January 25th, 1894, the Clark &
Leonard Investment company, a Nebraska
corporation; the Philadelphia Mortgage and
Trust company, a Pennsylvania corporation
and Rebecca Emily Ashbridge, as plaintiffs
began an action against you and other de
fendants in the district court of Lancaster
county, Nebraska, the object of which is to
foreclose a certain mortgage on the follow
ing land in said county, to-wit: Lot num
ber thirty-nine (39) of S. W. Little's sub-division
of the west half of the southwest
quarter of section 24; township 10, north of
range 6 east of the 6th principal meridian
according to the recorded plat made by
you, dated March 21 1888, to secure the
payment of. your promissory note to said
The Clark & Leonard Investment company
for $4,000 on which there is now due 85530.
with interest from April 1, 1891 at 10 per
cent per annum pursuant to coupons.
Plaintiffs pray for decree of fordosur&
and sale of said land to satisfy said liens as
aforesaid, for deficiency judgment and gen
eral relief.
You are required to answer plaintiff's pe
tition on or lefore the 30th dav of April,
1894.
