Omaha Concord Club
to Entertain Tonight
The Omaha Concord club will
celebrate a "ladies' and sjuests' night"
at the Hotel Fontenelle ball room
this evening according to announce
ments sent out early in the week.
There is no limit to the number of
guests, the announcement states, and
club members are urged to bring
their wives and other friends. Dinner
will be served at 6:30. The enter
tainment will consist of a radio con
cert, broadcast from the Omaha
Grain exchange. A receiving set
will be installed in the dining room
and will be operated by James Corr.
The program will be furnished by
Prince Lei Lani, Hawaiian tenor, the
Concord quartette, and the Concord
Saxophone band.;
This, will be the last ladies' night
of the year, it is announced. There
will be no speeches. Ben EIrod is
chairman of the evening. .

Improvement Campaign
The political atmosphere "of East
Omaha is serene again, as was evi
denced by the congenial meeting of
the newly elected trustees in the town
hall Tuesday evening. Plans have
been made to grade all streets and
Carter Lake boulevard and about 20
houses are to be built in the village
this summer, Harry K. Bell, -village
clerk, announces. The town hall has
been renovated. A progarm will be
held in the town hall Decoration day.
