AN ANNOUNCEM ENT THE AMERICAN COMMITTEE for Devastated, France announces that it has selected The Omaha Bee as the medium through which Omaha's representative in the Good Will Delegation to France will be chosen. The Omaha delegate will have all expenses paid. The trip will include a visit to Paris, a journey through sunny Normandy and a tour of the Battlefields of Flanders. The dele gation will sail from New York this summer. THE GOOD WILL DELEGATION will be a memorable event. It will include representatives from scores of American cities and wilLgo far toward cementing more firmly the age-old friendship between the two Republics. Every member will be ah Honor Delegate selected by popular vote to represent her city. The Good Will Delegation will be officially re ceived by the French Government before beginning its tour of the Battlefields. Rules governing the contest are simple and will be found else where in this paper. The first thing to do is to nominate your self or any other you would like to see selected as Omaha's Delegate.' Fill out a nomination letter anc) return it immediately to the Good Will Editor, Omaha. Bee. That puts your candidate in nomination with 100 votes to her credit Once nominated, votes will be cast for candidates and the candidates receiving the greatest number of votes will be de clared elected. The number of women sent to France from this territory depends entirely on the total number of votes cast in the election. The more candidates that enter the race, the greater will be the num ber of girls who receive the capital prize. Every ten cents contributed to the work of the American Committee for Devastat ed France will count as one vote. v Candi dates should be entered today so that they may win the support of their friends and neighbors. All money obtained in the Good Will Election will go to the American Committee and will be taken to France as Omaha's of fering. Little need be said of the work of this splendid organiza tion in that part of the war-torn country where the American armies were engaged. It has re ceived the commendation of statesmen of two continents. Myron T. Herrick, American Ambassador to France, is Presi dent of the organization.
