Empress Theater in New, Lovely Plumage Realty Board to Hear Expert of New York on Zoning City W. D. Ennis, vice president of the technical advisory corporation of New York, will speak before the real estate board next Wednesday on the subject of "City Zoning." - Mr.-Ennis, who is now advising , the Lin coln city plan commission relative to a zoning ordinance, will tell of what may be expected in the future from Omaha's zoning law. Have you visited the Empress theater since its beautiful decorations have been "fully completed? If not, you have missed one of the most beautiful bits of artistic work to be found in any theater-in this part of the country. This popular playhduse has just recently undergone a complete change of inside and outside decorat ing, the general color scheme of which is as nearly idealistic as it is possible for human minds and human hands to have wrought. The decorations, draperies and tap estries are a French renaissance, with the predominating color, espe cially in the lobby, gold, blue, tinted with pink and orange. Cut flowers, including deep red roses placed at various places about the entry way add color and beauty to the general decorative, scheme. The interior decorations are in keeping with the lobby and conform with it in gen eral color scheme. ' ' The ' new fireproof asbestos cur tain conforms in its beautiful deep hucd coloring to the general decora tions of the house. The ladies' rest room, in direct contrast to the many- hued decorations of tjje theater, is done in walnut paneling with a rest ful French gray color design. - Sunday patrons will have an op portunity for the first time to see this beautiful theater as it appears after it has been completely remodeled and redecorated.
