Wool Bulletin tomorrow will say:
"The wool market has continued dull
and somewhat uneven as a result of the
dullness, but ' generally firm, nevcrthe
lesa, especially for good wools. Reports
from the west Indicate a pause in oper
ations there, practically no buying being
reported and but few contracts, owing to
tha uncertainty of the tariff outlook.
'The goods markets are also uneven,
somo lines, notably worsted goods, being
reported very dull, while in some spots
woolen goods of a type seem to be meet
ing with fair demand but generally the
market In New York is dull."

Sterling exchange roe rapidly, the
day's highest rate of $iM 5-8 rep-,
resenting an advance of 4 1-2 cents
fur the djy and a tot.il recovery of
II 1-8 cent from Tuesday' low
point of reaction. In tome respcett,
witn even more direct bearing on
the general situation, a 4-cent ad
vance in wheat brought the price 10
cent a bushel above that market
low level in the recent reaction,
touched on Wednesday. Wheat ha
now recovered exactly half of the
las which followed the speculative

Today's stork market was noteworthy
In two respects that more separate shares
were dealt In then on any other day on
record, and that total sales ran further

bank's discount rate. It was primarily a
