New top honors on the local cattle
market for fat stock, so far this year,
were carried off yesterday by R. k.
Frasier, a young stockman of Ceres
co, who received $8.75 a hundred for
a load of 1, 102-pound beeves. They
averaged around 700 pounds when
bought last fall.
Revival Meetings Close.
Simcrior, Neb., March 7. (spe
cial.) The union evangelistic cam
paign has closed. Over a thousand
persons attended the final meeting.
An offering was taken for the
evarfgelists which amounted to ap
proximately $1.400.
Fire Damages Pool Hall.
Kimball, Neb., March 7. (Special
Telegram.) The tipper part of the
Buckley pool hall here was damaged
by fire. Prompt work of the fire

geants and corporals were sentenced
to death by the supreme coutr yes
terday for participation in a riot De
cember 15, 1920, tn which four po
lice officers and four other persons
were killed and a number wounded.
The defendants had appealed from
the decision of the court of the firt
instance, w hich sentenced them only
to life imprisonment.
Sixty-sir other defendants, enlist
ed constabulary, who received sen
tences of 17 years for their part fn
he murders, were sentenced by the
supreme court to life imprisonment.
