After a slow start in wheat a bet
ter feeling developed and late sates
were the best, largely due to an up
turn in future prices of this cereal,
which were 1 to 3 cents higher than
Saturday. Corn offerings were
taken at VA to 2 cents better. Oats
were 'Ac up. Rye sold at 2c higher,
while barley was unchanged to lc up.

The same interests that have been
free buyers of wheat of late were
active on that aide today. While
there was very heavy profit-taking
at times, a new set of bulls quickly
took the offerings of those who sold
out. Speculative interest is rapidly
increasing and sentiment is decidedly
bullish.
Foreign markets continue to ad
vance rapidly with Liverpool up
2 3-4d for the day. Buenos Aires,
after opening 1 Mc higher, closed 6c
up, the word being received long
alter the close at Chicago, In conse
quence the trade generally looked for
a sharp advance at the opening to
morrow. Decline Ignored.
A decline of 26o in spot premiums at

the most strength. The falling off In
the seaboard demand in the west and
the Increase of 4.049,000 bushels In the
.visible had no effect other than to cause
a fractional decline at one time.

At tht seaboard sales were 500,000
bushels corn, and local handlers sold
110,000 bushels. Basis In the sample
