The Omaha Buffalo! practically
jumped into a tie with the Oklahoma
City Indiana for second place in the
league Handing ycterday when
they trounced the Dei Moinei Boost
er t in a double-header at league park
before a small crowd of shivering
fan. The core were 8 to 6 and
8 10.5.
Kay O'Drien'a home run over the
right field garden wall in the lad
of the 10th won the second contest
for the Buffaloes. With the score
knotted, five all, Lee was hit by a
pitched ball. "Mike' Massey forced
the former at second and then ad
vanced to second when Griffin singled
to center. O'Brien stepped up to
