Miss Marjorie Mitz was hostess Friday evening at her home for Miss Sheldon. Miss Rotter will honor her guest with a dinner Saturday evening and p house party, which will be attend ed by Misses Maxine Foshier, Mar jorie Mitz, Kleanor Line, Josephine Bcedle and Miss Sheldon. Hanley announce the birth of a son, Billie Cullen Hanley, at Stewart hospital, on Sunday. , Mrs. Barton Millard, who under went an operation at Wise Memorial hospital a few days ago, is reported as much improved. Colonel and Mrs. Ben Wade have left San Antonio, Tex., for Washing ton, D. C, where Colonel Wade has been ordered to the war college. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hubbard are occupying the E. W. Sherman home at 318 South Fifty-second street, until September 1. G. E. Payne and family of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Omaha, have re turned to the city and are residing at 3514 South Twentieth avenue. Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Pedersen and daughter. Miss Vera, have returned from Chicago. While there they were guests of Walter Spry, pianist, at lec ture recitals. Miss Eleanor Tippcry left Friday for Southampton, L. L, where she will spend several weeks at the sum mer home of her aunt, Mrs. Harri son Potter. Major and Mrs. Edward McGuire and- daughter have sailed for the United States. Major McGuire has been stationed at Coblenz since the armistice. Mrs. Herbert French has returned from Moline, 111., where she spent two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. French plan to motor to Lake Okoboji in August for a short stay. Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Gilmo have returned from a five weeks' trip to Yellow Stone park, Estes park and Colorado Springs. They leave Friday to spend the remainder of the summer at Minneapolis and St. Taul. Dr. Jenny Laird, state delegate to the National Osteopathic association at Cleveland. O., July 21 to 29, has departed. She is president of the state organization and also the local organization of the Women's Osteo pathic clubs. Mrs. George A. Hautzinger and daughter, Marian Jane Hautzinger, leave Saturday for New York, where they will sail July 30 for Europe on the Orduna. Marian, a junior at Ccn- Resinol would (top that itching.
