"Tanlac took hold of me right from the start and I felt an improve ment from the first dose. It was not long before I was eating three hearty meals a day, something I hadn't done before in years, and I gained in strength and weight right along until finally I got in tip-top condition as well, , in fact, as any man could want to be. It will al ways be a mystery to me that a medicine could do as much good as Tanlac did me. "It was three years ago that my health was restored and ever since then Tanlac has been my stand-by, and is I feel the least bit run down I take a dose or two and it never fails to build me up. Have You Time For Play ? By LORETTO C. LYNCH. "She is out walking every after noon I can see her from my win dow while I am still ironing or washing dishes, or doing the thou sand things my house requires sim ply don't know how she does it. She must neglect her home terribly." Thus wailed a tired little house wife to me the the -hv as together we watched a charming young woman wheeling the baby and en joying the spring air. Was her home neglected? Not a bit. For she was a born manager. She had a home only large enough ts serve her needs, furnished with a view toward making it easy to keep clean. Instead of investing in a work-by-the-day houseworker, ;. she put her money into labor-saving de vices. She decided to do her housework in the morning. But, first, she al lotted one full hour to the care of baby. He had a corner shut off by a screen sacred to his things. And they never got very far away. The baby slept after his bath, which was given between 9 and 10. From 10 to 1 the mother managed to fit in all her work. She washed dishes but once a day. The dishes from the evening meal and the noon meal were scraped and put into a zinc lined box. These dishes she washed at about 10. An electric vacuum swept as no broom ever can and took but IS minutes to go right through her little home. Each morning she planned to do one bit of housecleaning well. Fpr in stance, Monday was kitchen morn ing; Tuesday, bathroom day; Wed nesday, she concentrated on the bedroom. And there was dining room and living room days. She did not try to do all the rooms any one day. About 1 o'clock she had her luncheon, usually some leftover from the evening meal plus a cup of cocoa and some bread and butter. After luncheon, for baby as well as mother, the mother carefully dressed and was ready for a walk to market. The afternoon was leisure time, houseueepiisfc had its allotted time, baby had his. nd she was not trying to wash the dishes with one hand and rock the baby with the other. . Have you any leisure? If not, why not? Perhaps I can help you plan it. Bee Want Ads Produce Results. Free De livery to all parts of City.
