THE BEE: OMAHA. SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 1931. I Here It IA Free Home for Yom pj '2 1 : I l - if 5 " ,1 ' Read the Details and Act Today! At Once! Thousands of Worked Years to Save to Buy What You Can Earn In a Few Short Weeks In Your Spare Time Enter the Club During the Special Offer of Extra Votes. This Offer Closes May 14. Club Does Not Close Until June 25. . In presenting the standings today of the club members in The Omaha Bee Help Yourself Club, it will be interesting to note that many changes have been made in the relative positions of, the club members. The well-laid plans of the club members are bearing fruit, the votes cast are a good indication all can do as well. In every com munity there is a golden opportunity for some energetic man or woman to enter the campaign and become the possessor of one of the valuable awards, and while the vote standings of the contestants is not very high yet, still it indicates they are starting to work., ' Some of the club members have already started to take ad vantage of the extra vote offer, whereby they will receive 100,000 extra votes for $25.00 worth of subscriptions turned in on or be fore May 14th at 10:00 p. m. This is a fine offer, the best to be made during the entire campaign. There is no limit to the number of extra votes any club member may win during this period, for the reason that for each dollar turned in over and above the $25.00, you will get 4.000 additional votes. These extra votes you earn during this period may be the very votes that you will need to put you "Over the Top" when the final count is made. Two other offers of extra votes will be made during the life of the campaign, but will be for a less amount than the present offer, i By taking the fullest advantage of the extra vote offer, the club members may advance their standing by thousands and thousands of votes. Votes are what the club members need to win awards and the rapid way of securing them is by the subscrip tion payments. We do feel that the winning of an award which the club member wants, may depend entirely on what the club mem ber does during this extra vote period. FUTURE SUBSCRIPTIONS It) some cases club members will find friends who will be glad to help, but are now paid in advance for some other paper, and do not want two papers at one and the same time. In order that the club members may secure these subscriptions, we have arranged to accept and issue vote certificates to cover such subscriptions and will hold the . subscriber's credit on our books and not start the paper until the subscriber wishes. In sending in such subscriptions, be sure and mark on the remittance sheet the date the paper is to be started to the subscriber. WHERE TO WORK We again emphasize the fact that a club member residing in one district is not restricted in any way as to the locality in which he may secure subscription payments and free vote coupons. The object in dividing the territory into the eight districts was to assure each candidate that a certain number of prizes would be awarded' in their immediate vicinity. f HOW VOTES ARE OBTAINED Votes are obtained by club members through their efforts in securing subscription payments from old and new subscribers. An old subscriber is one who was subscribing for The Bee April 10. A new subscriber is one who was not taking the paper April 10. Th number of votes given depends on the amount paid according to the vote schedule furnished in this advertisement An old sub- scribe? is given half as many votes as a new subscriber. In all cases where votes are issued, a club member must send the full amount of money direct to the Manager of the H. Y. S. Club. Remittances should not be turned over to the postmaster or to the local agents. ' . .. : SUPPLIES Club, members should not allow their supplies to run out be fore requesting more. If you need more receipt books, remittance sheets, count slips or any other supplies, anticipate your wants so that the H. Y. S. Department may send them to you at once. NAMES BEING REMOVED Many names are being removed from the list daily. These are people who are. not going to take an active-part. Their places are being taken by live, active workers, people who appreciate that these awards are worth the effort of anyone. There still remain many localities that are either not represented, or the club member is not active. If your community is represented poorly, send in your own name and make the effort. . The club member who enters today has eight weeks in which to work. The person entering the Help Yourself Club today and win ning the capital award, the $7,800.00 home, would be recompensed for his efforts at the rate of ?985.00 per week. Figure it our for yourself on tha other awards. ? ; STANDING OF CLUB MEMBERS The standing of the club members as they appear in this issue include only the votes received and counted at this office up to Thursday at 3:00 p. m.! The standings will be changed again in next Wednesday's paper, and will include the vote that are received ,and counted at the H. Y. S. Club office before 3:00 p. m. Mon- .
