How They Will Be Awarded
The $7,800 home, the 7 passenger $4,440 Cadillac automobile and the
l.BOO Buildine and Loan deoosit will be known as the Capital Prizes, and will
be awarded as follows: The club member having the largest number of votes
at the close of the campaign will be awarded the HOME. The club member
having the second largest number of votes at the close of the campaign will
be. awarded the 7 passenger Cadillac automobile.
The person having the third largest number of votes at the close of tho
campaign will be awarded the $1,500 Building and Loan deposit. Every club
member in the campaign is competing for one of the three Capital Prizes.

Subscriptions taken durinsr the early part of the
campaign for short periods, may be extended it any
time durinsr the campaign. If a subscriber was new
when his first payment vnn made he will b new en
any subsequent payment. This will be kown as "second
payments," details of which. will be explained fully at a
later date. The same plan applies to old oubscrlption
payments. A subscriber may pay as much as S25.00
on one subscription.
A new subscriber is one -who was not takinir The
Bee April, 10. A person may now be taking the Morn
inK only, this would be an old subscriber. If this person
should now want to subscribe to the Evening edition or
the Sunday edition or both, they would be considered as
new. However, it would be necessary for this sub
scriber to pay six months in advance on his old papei
as an evidence of (rood faith.
' The territory covered by The Bee has been divided into eight districts
and each district has been allotted three prizes which must go in the district,
thereby assuring club members that all automobiles and other awards CAN
NOT BE WON IN ANY CERTAIN LOCALITY. This plan of awarding the
prizes gives all the club members an opportunity of winning automobiles or
Other cash awards.

Extra Votes to Be Given
During the Campaign
During the campaign there will be three special offers of extra
votes. The first offer will run four week3 after the first list of club
members, is published, and will be as follows: In addition to the regular
number of votes allowed on subscription payments, as shown in the
voting schedule, 100,000 extra votes will be allowed to each and every
club member who sends or brings $25.00 in subscription payments to
the department during this period.
The second offer will start at the close of the first and will run
three weeks, and will be as follows: 75,000 extra votes will be given to
club member who sends or brings $25.00 in subscription payments
during this three-week period.
The third and final offer of extra votes will start at the close of
the second offer and will run two weeks only, closing one week before
the campaign closes and will be as follows: 50,000 extra votes will be
allowed to each and every club member who sends or brings $25.00 in
subscription payments during this period.
These are the only offers of extra votes to be made during the
ENTIRE CAMPAIGN and are in addition to the regular votes given
for subscription payments as shown in the voting schedule.
Under this plan of giving the greatest number of votes for sub
scription payments during the first four weeks of the campaign it is
plain to be seen it is to your advantage to start early and secure your
subscription payments while the best vote offer is in force.
Rules of the Help Yourself Club
Any person, man or woman, mar
ried or single, is eligible to compete
A boy or girl under the age of IS
is not eligible to compete without
the written consent of their parents.
No employe of The Bee or depend
ent member of their family can com
pete. This club is lor Individuals.
In case of a tie for any of the
awards offered, a prize of equal
value will be given to each of the
club members tieing.
No statement or promise varying
from the rules as set forth, will be
recognized by the management.
A list of all members and the
number of their votes accepted for
publication will be printed from time
to time throughout the campaign.
All subscriptions and votes will
be accepted for verification and pub
lication at the discretion of the
manager of tha H. Y. S. club.
All money collected from sub.
scribers by the club members mut
be sent direct to the H. Y. S. Club
Manager at Tha Bee.
Vote certificates given for sub
scription payments are not trans
ferable, with the one exception as
follows: They may be transferred
from an OLD club member to a
NEW club member and this only
with the consent of the club manager.
Vote certificates may be held by
the club member a. a reserva until
the final day of the campaign.
Tha Bea reserves the right to re
ject any nomination. v
The Bee reserves the right to
make any additiona to tha rules
that may be necessary in the inter
est of tha club members and The
Bee, other than reducing the prizes
and the order in which they shall
be given.
The Bee reserves the right to add
one or more prize, to the list as
published.
Club members may secure sub
scription payments and 10-vote cou
pon a anywhere; you are not re
stricted to your own district in your
efforts.
Any question which may arise
concerning tho club, will be deter
mined by the club manager. This
decision will be final and conclusive.
The 10-vote free coupon may be
discontinued in the paper at the
option of thedub manager.
The campaign will be conducted
over n period of 10 weeks from the
day tho first list of members is pub
lished. A subscriber may pay $25.50 on
one subscription, but no more.
Anyone entering this campaign
agrees to abide by the rules.
