: Mr. Bailey replied that the police
commissioner understood it correct
ly. .Mr. Bailey has been the only wit
ness examined since this phase of
f the hearing was started last Wednes
day. The hearing will be resumed this
morning at 10 and will extend into
next week.

who has charge of selling stock in
the Interstate Hotel company, con
trolling an operation lease on Oma
ha's largest hotel propqrty.
He admits that Joseph Huckins,
jr., and his two brothers, who oper
ate hotels at Oklahonit City, Fort
Worth and Texarkanrt. were among
those interested in taking over the
Fonteiielle. There are two or three
other interested parties, according
to Barkeley.

Entertained at Lincoln

Stanwood, in spite of his wooden
leg, grabbed Daly and began to man
handle him, crying, "You robbed me,
you robbed me."
Stanwood identified Daly as the
man who had robbed him of $11 at
Thirteenth and Cass streets. Two de

furiated victim. t
