rested in Lctiar Rapids, la., Sat
urday on a charge of selling stolen
property, stopped in Lincoln Sunday
night for a conference with State
Fire Warden C. E. Hartford.
The warden sent back to York,
with the sheriff and his prisoner.
Inspector W. D. Fisher of Hastings,
to continue an investigation of an
alleged incendiary fire which de
stroyed the Holoubek bakery on De
cember 3.
The bakery was said to have been
insured for $8,000. The fire appeared
to have been started in front of the
baking ovens.
Holoubek was brought back from
Iowa on charges growing out of the
alleged discovery, during the auction
sale of Holoubek's household goods
a" week ago, of goods belonging to
other people worth from $2,000 to
$3,000, according to officials.
Holoubek escaped from officers af
ter he had been arrested in York.
In a trunk which officials found at
his home was nearly $10,000 in cur
rency. Mr. Holoubek is being held
for investigation.

fruits, according to Dr. Alexander,
discipline, bravery and loyalty being
mentioned as some of its develop

slippers, he escaped from Clarkson
hospital Sunday night and disappear
ed. He was found early yesterday
morning munching doughnuts in a

"I was hungry and just dirfted
away," young Bramon told his father.
Hospital authorities say the boy
had been in the hospital two weeks on
a "starvation diet," as a remedy for
Bright's disease. He was returned
to the hospital.

here from what is said to be the ef
fects of poisoned whisky. An
autopsy was held and an inquest
