More than half the tickets have
already been sold for the 4 Onward
Omaha" dinner to be given at the
Chamber of Commerce Thursday
evening, January 20, under the aus
pices of the Omaha Business and
i'rofessional Women's league, ac
cording to Miss Mary Sturgeon,
president of the organization. Aa
the Chamber of Commerce can ac
commodate only 450 dinner guests,
the league may have to find another
location.

The current topics department of
the Omaha Woman's club will meet

The Bible lesson will be "Choosing

read a paper on "How to Become
a Naturalized Citizen." Current

Parliamentary Law Department.
The parliamentary law depart
ment of the Omaha Woman's club
will meet at the Y. W. C. A. Thurs
day afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The
lesson will include "Constitution of

By request, instruction in the method
of voting will be given, and a mock
installation of officers will be con
ducted.
The lesson on "Committees,"
scheduled for Thursday, will be

An Omaha girl who is rapidly gaining prominence in the business
world is Miss Esther Dugher. She was recently elected president of the
"Lions Club," a club of 69 business girls which interests itself in business
affairs and social welfare work.
Miss Dugher has been superintendent of the underwriters of fidelity
and public official bonds in a local insurance office for the past two years.
She has also been in other departments of the company previous to the
time she was chosen to head one. Very few women are employed in the
same capacity, men usually being uijs.
