The dealers also disapproved the shipping of, re pairs c. o. d., as being a reflection on the financial standing of the dealers and unbusinesslike. L. iNethaway Cdntinued by Judge Federal Judge T. C. Munger con tinued the case of the government against Claude L.' Nthaway until next Tuesday in order to atlow t(if. defendant time to gather witnesses. Xethaway is charged with sending scurrilous- matter , through the mail. A question of whether Mrs. Stella Xethaway is still.thc wife of the de fendant was brought up at the jury trial yesterday, when a motion was made to place her on the witness stand. An objection was raised in that Mr. Xethaway , appealed thoj divorce suit, filed by his wife in October, to the supreme court. "If Mrs, NVhaway is still tjie de fendant's wife, the law will not allow her to testify aga-ini-t her husband," Federal Judge Munger ruled. Kiwanians Plan Hastings , . And Grand Island Tup Kiwanians held, a meeting in the Hotel Rome at noon yesterday to plan for the trip to Hastings and Grand Island, where Kiwanisehar tors will be presented vnext Wednes day. The Kivvanis male q'tartct made its first appearance at the meeting and ws cnthusiastical'y re ceived. 'Jhe Kiwanis orchestra, augmented by outsiders, gave a con cert.
