13 Gratitude Swells Lame Boy's Heart Pastor Accused of Passing Bad Checks Rev. William II Wikoff, 30, ar rested here for alleged sale of mort gaged furniture, is wanted in Cedar Rapids, la., for passing worthless checks, according to police. Wikoff, who is an ordained Chris tian minister, purchased $600 worth of furniture from the Hartman Fur niture company, then sold it to an other furniture company for $180.50, police say. Wikotf said he planned to furnish a home for his wife, but learned she would not come here, so sold the furniture, say the police. ' Begin Construction of Hangar at Fort Crook Building of a hanger and prepar ing a landing field for the inaugura tion of an aerial transportation line from Washington, D. C, will begin at Fort Crook next week, according to Major Ira Kader, chief of the corps area air service. Four enlisted men, first of the air force to be dis patched to Fort Crook from San Antonio, Tex., to assist in handling the aerial transportation from corps headquarters to posts in the seventh army area, reported at Fort Crook yesterday.
