V Suspension of the hunger itrike imonf the nine prisoners itt the Cork county jail, Ireland,, has brought relief to "the relatives in Omaha of Joseph Kenny, one of the hunger strikers, formerly of this city. '. The hanger strike was tailed off Friday in a proclamation issued by Bishop Cohalan of Cork. The prisoners had fasted 94 days. -"Now it is a question whetther Mr. Kenny will regain his health," Mrs. Edward Carroll, 5004 Leaven worth strett, sister-in-la toMr. Kenny, taid today. Mrs. Carroll declared that 'f she thought it was Bishop ConaUn's in- Hueuce that brought about suspen sion of the hunger strike. v ''My sister wrote that Biohop Cohalan was often afiiong the prison ers," she said. A letter from Miss Elizabeth A. Cullen, associate director of the Red Cross, describing its membership en rollment campaign and .fcsking the support of the 350,000 men repre sented Jy the union; was hissed.
