Schools to Observe Armistice Day by One Minute of Silence Armistice day will not be observed generally in Omaha today. Mayor Smith will not declare the day, or part of the day, as a holiday, he said. Police Stop-Alleged Bomb Plot in Omaha When a boz containing 106 sticks of dynamite way found yesterday in the storeroom of the American Express Co., 1312 Farna.m street, police believed they nipped in the bud plot of a Sicilian secret o ciety toblow) up homes of a number of Italians- on the South Side, these Italians being enemies of Frank Zolan who was killed when his home wa9 blown MP last July. Carmello Cacci, according to a telegram received by Chief of Police Eberstein, is under arrest at Dead wood, S. D., suspected of having shipped the dynamite to Omaha. Po lice say they have a letter written by Cacci, containing names and ad dresses of persons' whose homes were to be dynamited. The dynamite is at Central police station. It would be .enough to blow up three or four big buildings.
