r V THE OMAHA BEE. Emergency Orders for Coal Shipments to Northwest Suspended and priority in the movement bituminous coal to Lake Erie ports for trans-shipment to the northwest were suspended indefinitely today by the Interstate Commerce commis sion. Demand for coat at the lake ports fcr trans-shipment is now less than at any time since the orders were entered on July 20, the commission stated,' with extensile' accumulations of coal at these ports and a large volume en route. Production of coal and carsupfily have been consider ably innlased. the commission add ed, and are believed adequate to take care of the northwest without the priority order. . In the central territory,, however, the commission declared there was a shortage of coal for domestic use, for which transportation must be sup plied before cold weather sets in. The suspension of the northwest or der, the statement added, "should .en able the mines and railroads to take care of the central territory prompt ly and fully." . Bee want ads are business getters.
