Side Robber Suspects Sentenced to Jail Two Implicated In $1,000 Steal Are Given Jail Terms for Vagrancy. Suspected of being implicated in the robbery of the rooming house at 1414 Chicago street Tuesday night, when the' roomers were robbed of a total of $1,000, Victor i Four and Vacila Bognar, 5230, South Twenty second street were arrested yester day by South Side police. Faur was sentenced to 60 days in jail for vagrancy and Bognar 10 days by Police Judge Fitzgerald. The immi gration officials are not exceeding their authority under the act of Oc tober 1, 1918, in deporting persons who are found to be members of the communist party Federal Judge John C. Knox ruled. The ruling, made in the case of Martin Abcrn, a communist under warrant of deportation, is contrary to that of Judge Anderson -of the federal court in Boston. The latter in the Colyer case held that member ship in the communist party was not of itself sufficient to deport a person imder the law.
