The program committee of the music department of the Omahaj Woman's club has completed plans tor a Repertoire club which will give its members the opportunity to ap pear in solo, duet, trio and quartet work, both vocal and instrumental, according to Mrs. W. E. Shafer. leader of the department. Chorus work will be continued this season under direction of Henry G. Cox. Weekly rehearsals will be held at the Y. W. C. A. Wednesday after- m beginning October 20. One half hour will be devoted to solo work, following each chorus re hearsal. The department will open the sea son with a tea for new members Wednesday afternoon, October 13, at the Y. W. C A. auditorium. Guild of St. Barnabas. The Guild of St. Barnabas for Xurses will hold a social meeting Friday evening at All Saints parish house, Twenty-sixth street and Dewey avenue. The evening will be devoted to dancing and cards. Each girl is privileged to invite one male guest. St. Barnabas guild was founded in England in I860 and derived its name from St. Barnabas, the disci ple of consolation, who ministered to the sick throughout his life. The guild is nonsectarian and is in no way connected with St. Barnabas church. The local branch cf the guild was organized in Omaha last March.
