Constable George McBride was on his way to serve a summons on him to appear in justice court for alleged failure to keep peace. The-trouble started when Kanger disputed, the right of Mary's children- to their playground. Mrs. Sverek swung a broomstick and soon John was playing the Billy Miske role of taking the count. Chicago, Sept. 10. Lower prices for all grains with cash and Septem ber corn leading, featured the mar ket today. Cash corn was 2 to 3 cents lower, September 2'Ac Tnnd distant futures V to z lower. Wheat lost 1 to,2 cents with March leading, while oats were slow all dav and H to cent lower, rye off ii to Vc and barley 1 to V2c lower. Outside business was light and sen timent in the main bearish on gen erar principles. ' Buying of wheat was of two kinds. Seaboard reporters were covering shorts on export sales made some time ago and they were taking ;the wheat to fill them, and there was selling by northwestern interests and to local traders who were-bearish, owing tt the break in corn. Premiums at New Vork were off sharply, with no new business for export, while a good business was put through at the gulf. s Foreign Demand Slow. Foreign demand for rash wheat was generally alow, and the bulk of the rash wheat reported as sold thre was regarded as covering by ahorts. Bids of 33 cents over December ware made f. o, b. th ulf for last half of tepteoiher and 30 to (1 cents ovsr for October loading.
