Taxicab Driver Ordered Held For Man's Death Ed Jorgenson, taxicab driver for the Central Taxicab company, was ordered held for trial for the death of V. J. Carey. 2204 South Tenth street, by a coroner's jury at an in quest in the Gentleman mortuary yesterday. Carey was riding with his brother-in-law, Sergt.' M.. J. McCarthy, South Side polic;, Sunday at 3 p. m. near Thirteenth and Martha streets when Jorgenson's taxicab crashed into their machine. " Carey was seriously injured and removed to St. Joseph hospital, where he died shortly after midnight.
