Waren Keifer of Bostwick, Neb., and Joel C. McLaffertv of Omaha will take place Wednesday, July 21. at the home of the bride's parents. Both Miss Keifer and Mr. McLaffertv attended the University of Nebraska. For Visitors. Miss Grace Bailey entertained at luncheon Tuesday at Happy Hollow :lub in honor of her guests the Mis ses Helen Tuzalin and Elizabeth Shedd of Chicago, 111. Zenias and :osmos formed the centerpieces and the guests included former Rockford college students. Covers were placed for Mesdames G. W. Noble. H. I. Bailey, and the Misses Tuzalin, Shcdd, Katherinc Snell of Ida Grove, la.; Vivian Hrdlicka of Rockford, 111.; Grace Burgess, Ruth Hatteroth, Ethel Streitz, Lucile Laihrop, Winifred Lathrop, Martha Noble, Genene Noble, Mildred Hungate, Louise Bailey and Grace Bailey. Entertain for Visitor. . Miss Mary Catherine Marshall of Fremont is the guest of Miss Lillian Head at the Colbert apartments. Miss Head will entertain at dinner Wednesday evening at the Field club in honor of her guest, and she will give a luncheon Thursday at the Field club for Miss Marshall. Miss Head and her guest. Miss Marshall, will be honor guests this evening at a dinner given by Mr. Barton Kuhn it the Happy Hollow club. Miss Head and Miss Marshall were schoolmates at the Ward Belmont ichool in Nashville, Tenn. Rivett-Sides. Miss Truda Sides and W. Ralph Rivett, both of Lincoln, were mar ried Saturday in Omaha. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sides of Lincoln. Mr. Rivett is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rivett of that city. The couple will reside in Lincoln. For Bride-Elect. Mrs. Sam Kaplan and Mrs. Harry Malashock entertained 50 guests at luncheon Tuesday at the Black stone hotel in honor of their sister. Miss Grace Mushkin, whose mar riage to Max Simon will take place August 1. English Officer Guest in Omaha. James J. Townsend of London, England, is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Wrath. 617 South Mi. Townsend is an ex-officer of the British tank corps and was at the front during the entire war. He has been traveling in Australia and New Zealand for the past year re gaining his health. Informal Dinner. Captain and Mrs. C. F. Mrs. Roger Vaughan of Chicago arrived Saturday and will be the fuest ot her parents, Lr. and Mrs. . P. Lord, for several weeks. Colonel C. De F. Chandler of Washington, D. C, arrives Wednes day to be the guest of Major and Mrs. H. C. White at Fort Omaha. Mrs. Rollin Sturdevant of Kansas City, who was the guest of her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Duval, for two weeks, returned to her home Saturday. Miss Silence Wilson and Miss Ruth Clauffen of Omaha spent the week-end in Lincoln with Miss Wil son's grandparents, Judge and Mrs. W. E. Stewart. Mr A T. Holbert of Lynch, Neb., arrived Tuesday to attend the wedding of Miss Mae Oreene ana VT. Clement Martin, which will take place Wed nesday morning. 9 o'clock, at St. Johns church. Miss Kathe'rine Snell of Ida Grove, la., and Miss Vivian Hrdlicka of Rockford, 111., who are visiting Miss Grace Burgess, will return home the latter part of the week. The Misses Burgess, Snell and Hrlicka are classmates at Rock ford college. Helen Johnston Bride of Dr. Cultra A wedding of interest to Omahans took place in Oakland, Cal., Satur day, July 10, when Mitt Helen John ston became the bride of Dr. George M. Cultra, who it a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Cultra. Dr. Mor.ii of B e r kley read the m i rrirge service in the presence of immediate relatives and intimate friends at the home of the bride's fath er, McArthur Mr. Geor(e M.X'ultra. Johnston. The bride wore an attractive travel ing suit of dark blue tricotine and a hat to match. Her corsage was of sweetheart roses. Dr. and Mrs. Cul tra left immediately for Seattle, Wash. They sailed from that point July 17 for Nenana, Alaska, which ir located about 40 miles from Fair banks. The bride attended Omaha University and also the University of California. Dr. Cultra was grad uated from the Arts and Science college and the medical college of University of Nebraska in 1919. He spent 16 months as an intern in the Kings courty hospital in New Yo-k. Dr. J. P. Lord, who has been in Winnipeg, Manitoba for a couple of weeks is expected home the first of next week. Their guests numbered 32. C. W. Kuhns had four guests Tuesday for dinner; Dr. Charles Mc Martin, eight; and Charles F. Weller, four. Mrs. A. C. Allgaier will give a luncheon of 17 covers Wednesday at the -Happy Hollow club. The Delta Tau Delta will enter tain one of the largest parties at the dinner dance Tuesday evening at the Happy Hollow club. Country Club Reservations for dinner Wednes day evening at the Country club have been made by F. P. Hamilton for 18; Mrs. C. E. Paulson, 10; Mrs. C. W. Russell, eight; and Tom Kinsler for 18. A daughter, Alice was born Satur day, July 17, to Mr. and Mrs. Leo J. Matthews at Stewarts hospital.
