Th marriage of Miss Marion Helland of Milwaukee, Wis., and Howard Maynard of Omaha took place Tune 30 at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs, Janus W. Maynard of this city. Rev. W, L. Miss Cprinne Elliott and Lori.ig Elliott and Wallace Shepard will entertain at dinner at the Happy Hollpw club Tuesday evening in lionor of Miss Helen Pearce and Kobert Turner, whose marriage will take' place Saturday. The guests will include the bridal party. Informal Affair. Miss Margaret Wolff of Riverside, Cal., who is visiting her sister, Mrs. George F. Wickham, in Council Bluffs, was honoree at an informal luncheon given Tuesday at the Coun cil Bluffs Country club by Lucille Clark. Miss Wolff leaves Thurs day for her home. Crawford and daughter, Miss Mary Hayes, re turned Sunday from Freeport, 111. Miss Helen Crawford returned Sat urady from Great Falls, Mont., where she spent two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Clarke, jr., leave next week to spend the re mainder of the I summer at 'their ranch in Wyoming. Miss Lucile Lathrop of Omaha, who has been attending the Colo rado university the last year, is now visiting in Denver, the guest of Miss Helen Beatty. At a meeting of the Omaha Busi ness Woman's club Monday morn ing at the Y. W. C. A Miss Etta Young and Miss Anna Olsson were elected delegates to the national con vention of Business and Professional Women's clubs, to be held in St. Paul, Minn., July 27-30. Miss Flor ence Hathaway and Miss Louise Gwin were chosen alternates.
