$30 Per Acre
Cheyenne County,
Nebraska.
Within 11 miles of Kidney. NVb.. I
own a section that I will aell for 830 per
acre. Anyone who llv-a near the place
will tell you It Is worth all of that. If
money was plentiful I could sell It to the
neighbors. It has a frame house, a good
barn, windmill, fenced and cross-fenced,
two hundred acres are under cultivation.
I have 100 acreaot It in winter wheat
that looks Ilka It will run 30 bushels to
the acre, all this wheat goes to the
buyer. Wheat wtll sell from three to
five doliKrs per bushel this fall, with
100 acrea think of the profits. My only
reason for sslling Is need of cash. The
200 acres lays fine, th balance laye
rolling to rough. This would make a
fine combination grain and stock farm.
For the next two weeks It Is youre for
3.10 an acre. Any kind of land now
clays Is worth that price. Terms can be

Olive has probably posed for more magazine cover portraits than any
other girl in America. Perhaps that's why she does it so well here. She
is the enchanting star this week of "Footlights and Shadows," the feature
picture with the Orpheum circuit vaudeville bill.
Constance Talmadge, always bub
bling over with bright ideas, has just
worked out a new one which is a
great time and energy saver for the
popular screen comedienne. "Con
nie" has introduced a' most jsxtraor
dinary understudy to take her place
at rehearsals. Her understudy, how
ever, doesnot resemble her in the
least and she cannot be compared
with Connie in the matter in vivacity
"and "pep." In fact, the understudy
is a dummy and is like Miss Tal
madge only in height and coloring.
The scheme of using the dummy
understudy was first put to test dur
ing the production oi "The Irfer.t
Woman," the forthcoming Con
stance Talmadge picture. It was
pronounced a success and nowCon
nie says: "It's a great idea and: I am
going to use my dummy at re
hearsals in .the future."
The director, using the dummy for
rehearsals? thus decides on the light
ing arrangements, the position of
Miss Talmadge, the grouping of
other players around her and other
details.
Then ) she calmly goes on the
proper moment after everything lias
