birth of a son, David Quick Ham
mond, jr., to Mr. and Mrs. David
Q. Hammond of Waterbury, Conn.,
on May 22. Mr. Hammond was a
lieutenant in-the balloon service and
was stationed. for some time at Fort
Omaha.

braska clubs in the general federa
tion has been mailed out by Mrs.

There are now 58 Nebraska clubs
in -direct -membership in the general
federation and four others will be
members very shortly. About 18 of
these have not responded "Yes" to
the letter and folders sent out from
this office on March 27, in interest
of their attendance upon Des Moines
biennial convention. There is yet
time for delegates' application cards
forhotel reservations to.be sent in
to me.
Visiting club women will be wel
come at the convention, and will be
taken care of if they send in to this
office for the application cards,
which delegates and visitors are
asked to use.
The Western Passenger associa
tion sends the following 'announce
ment:. "Round trip rate of fare and

the "Golden Prairie" biennial the
