Fremont High School
To Have Foot Ball Team
In Field Next Fall
'i , '
Fremont, Neb., May 5. (Special.)
-High school foot hall, which has
not been played in Fremont since
1903, has been authorized by the
board of education and an eleven
will take the field next fall.
When foot ball was abandoned
the board of education gave as the
reason,' interference with studies.
Previous attempts to revive th
sport have been unsuccessful, hut
popularizing the game last fall
through the playing of collegia-
football by Midland college resulted
in a renewal of the demand. Supcriw
tendent Waterhousc favored thj
spcrt and so the board has author
H. R. Best, track and basket hall
coach, will coach the foot ball team
next fall. Schedule arrangement
arc now being made.
