Table Belongings.
The hostdss who would be smart
and modern must keep up all the
latest notions anent table service and
food garnishing. A square meal
well cooked is well enough in its
way; more important vastly more
important is the service thereof
and a few lieht edibles nerfertlv
served will give that hostess a high
er reputation among her women
friends at least than any amount
of good food minus the little
touches that bespeak up-to-dateness.

"Movies " in the home" seems to
be the next fad which will be adopt
ed by Oniahans.', The day will soon
be here when we may simply turn
to a machine which stands in an in
conspicuous place in the home and
without any effort see our favorite
tragedian or comedian in the seclu
sion and quiet of our own domiciles.
Instead of an orchestra to follow the
picture,' there will, no doubt, be ylc
trola records planned for each pic
ture and not a single particle of en
joyment will be, lost htrough the in
novation. Tlii Rho Sigma fraternity of the
University of Nebraska Medical col
lege is one of the few places where
such a machine may be found. It
is the property of one of the alumni
members of the . fraternity and
through his courtesy the active
members have . the benefits of it.
One of the young men operates it
and when time hangs heavy, a movie
enlivens the occasion. Saturday eve
ning, May 1, the fraternity gave a
house dance and the most novel fea
ture of the evening were two com
edies which were shown to the
guests. . .
