It is expected that, as usual, some of the delegates will ask the church body to liberalize its attitude toward dancing and other amusements. Pronouncements will be made on education, temperance, capital and labor, morals, marriage and divorce, child labor, evangelism, immigra tion, evangelization and Christian ization of. the foreign element, world-wide missionary . operations and kindred subjects. Selection of new bishops will be one of the most important purposes of the meeting. Their number will be determined by the committee on episcopacy: Usually from six to ten new bishops are named.
