A report from Lincoln on their young women's club, says: "There is nothing narrow about the Young Women's Republican club, for a cordial invitation to join was extended to all democratic women. That prefix, "young" is used in a "Pickwickian" sense and includes any woman who has reach ed the age of understanding and has not yet Tost her faculties. "Lincoln's patriarchal suffragist, Mrs. Deborah G. King, whose name is expected to appear on the pri mary ballot as a delegate from her precinct to the county convention, would be quite eligible to member ship. Membership in the young men's republican club, has not been regulated by color, of hair, whether black or white, at least so the ladies have been told. Clef Club. Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Cox will entertain the members of the Clef club at their home next Monday evening, April 5. .Yellow jonquils will form the decorations. Misses Corinne Paulson, Henrietta Rees, and Eloise and Madge West, will assist the hostess. Mr. Cox is presi dent of the club.N Missi&renseir In South Miss Grace , Sorensen, editor of Every Child's magazine, is making a story-telling tour in the south. She tells her own stories, and is said to be the only one of her pro fession in the United States, who uses original compositions. She will return some time next week after a two-week absence, Miss Sorensen was in El Paso, Tex., last week, where she appeared before the Woman's club and the teachers as well as children of the city. At the present time she is in San Antonio. On her return she will make brief stops at Houston, Galveston, New Orleans, Dallas, Oklahoma City and Kansas City. . . ... D. A. R. National Convention Mrs. C. H. Aull, one of the vice presidents general of the National Society of fhe D. A. R. left Tues day for Washington, D.
