Myron L. Learned, acting chair man, and L. G. Brian, acting secre tary of the republican central com mittee, issued Monday the official call for the state convention, which will be held in the city auditorium, Lincoln, Tuesday noon, May 18. The call authorizes the seating of 811 delegates from the various coun ties and recommends that no proxies be allowed; also that the delegates present from each of the respective counties be authorized to cast the full vote for their delegation. The call contains the following instructions: "It is further recommended that immediately after the primary vote is officially counted, and the county committee is determined such com mittee shall meet and elect their county chairman, who shall appoint a secretary "and treasurer of such committee and report the complete county organization to the state com mittee at the earliest possible time. "It is important that when the county convention is held on May 11 the chairman and secretary of said convention complete the creden tials for the delegates to the state' convention and immediately forward the same to the state committee. "Said convention shall formulats and promulgate a state platform, shall select a state central commit tee, shall select electors of president and vice president and shall transact such other business as may proper ly come before the convention. "The representation to said con vention is fixed by law and appor tioned by the state committee on a basis of one delegate from each county for each 150 votes, or major fraction thereof, cast for Samuel R McKelvie, the party's candidate for governor at the 1918 election, en titling each county to the following delegates: The apportionments by counties follow: " Adam , ICTohnson 10 Antelop . .. 11 Kearney' 7 Arthur 1 Keith 3 Banner 1 Keya Tabs 2 Blaine lKlmbell 1 Boone 31 Knox 11 Box Butte 4 Lancaster 44 Boyd 6 Lincoln .......... 10 Brown 4Legan 1 Buffalo IS Loup 1 Burt ,.
