Auto Show Notes

showing. The demand foreclosed
Westcotts Ivis proven a surprise to
all in atuudarice at the booth. It

will see an enormous increase in
tlift. production of enclosed cars.
Fred Kohlcr, factory representa
tive of the National Motor Gar
company of Indianapolis, Ind., was
begging - members of the National
Car Sales company of Omaha to
go easy yesterday, as just so many
cars can be allotted to this city. The
National sextette, the new six-cyl-indered
model of . that car, has
drawn a host of friends. A tour
ing car, sedan and coupe make up
the exhibit. ; 1
A lone 'Cadillac, of the new series
"59," occupies the space allotted to
the C. J. Hansef? Cadillacconipany.
Much comment has been heard
around the show on the dignity and
simple imprfssiveness of the Cadil-'
lac booth. According to representa
tives of the eonipany, this year's
Cadillacs include many refinements
not found on previous models, all
of which tend toward better engine
efficiency and greater riding com
fort. From the number of new dealers
seeking affiliation 'the Peterson,
Motors company, distributers of
Jordan and Columbia cars, is certain
that both will prove immensely pop
ular in the Omaha 'district. A Jordan
sedai, beautifully finished and com
pletely appointed, is part of the ex
hibit. A Jordan touring model and a
Columbia roadster, equipped with
disc wheels, are also shown.
A coupe model of the Wintofr,
built on the ncV lines adopted by
that factory, is on exhibition at the
Keystone Motors corporation booth.
This is one of the largest coupes
built. Two examples of the standard
"8" are also shown. A $edan finished
ip blue and a touring model painted
red have received much of the atten
tion given cars on the stage.
Those connected with the Mid
City Motor and Supply company
are convinced that selling the first
car of the show was their lucky-
omen, for demands for .demonstra
tions of the Stevens Salient Six: and
inquiries from dealers have flooded
their booth. Several models of the
Stevens.Jncluding a handsome road
ster finished in brown, are included.
