Wounded Burglar Carried ' , To Court for His Sentence James Jones was carried by two deputy sheriffs into the court room of District Judge Troup yesterday day.- where he pleaded gun'ty to .a 9 charge of grand larceny and was sentenced to the state penitentiary for a term of one to seven years. He was carried into court because he has not recovered from bullet wouads inflicted by Detective Heller, who captured him last Thursday at Thirteenth and Dodge streets. Jones staged an amusing escape from the police on November 25, a few days after his arrest for robbing the home of Mrs. Matt Munchoff, 2424 South Sixteenth street. , He was brought Juto police court and, while awaiting sentence, he picked up a broom and begatisweeping. He weaved his way among the crowd, noticed by nobody, and swept his way to the door where he dropped the broom and ran..
