Closing prices Were within a few Oil,. Formerly a Lubricant; Today Is the Great Force Propelling the Industrial Wheels of the World Without analysing the situation, the average man is astounded at the enormous riie in the price of Oil. , Henry Ford, one of the men to blame, this Var is turning out one million new eari. One million new cars to use 1,000,000 gallon. of gasoline etery day, an amount equal to about one-tenth of the crude oil production of, the whole North Louisiana Fields. On top of that, he is placing on the market a gasoline-driven street :ar, which can brf operated al a cost of ten cents per mile. Henry Ford is only one think of the thousands of companies manufac turing gasoline and oil-propelled machinery. Ten' years ago it was the exception for- any person to own sny kind of ga6plfne.propelled machinery; today it's the exception the other way. Crude oil ha been steadily rising in price. John D. Rockefeller made hit million when uer of oil were few and oil wa cheap. The operator of today will make his mil lions much faster than even John D. thdught of. Think what twenty-five cent barrel increase means to North Louisiana. The pipe lines today are only taking out about 110,000 barrels, or a small part of the available product, yet that last in crease means $27,800.00 a day , without any additional handling cot. The end 1 not yet, nor In ighf. Pennsylvania crude, where they have plenty of pipe line faeilitie, i worth' today $5.25 per barrel. Louisiana' crude should reach that price and we hope will reach it by the time we have production on our famou 20 acre of Sec. 24-21-8, Homer. Every perion'in the fietd calls our twenty "The Famous Sure Shot-Stuff." We believe it. is, or our company would not liava acquired it at an enormous cost. Only one well on one acre producing 500 barrels per day, with oil at only the present price $3.00 per barrel, would mean an income of $1,500.00 per day, or almost $550,000 a year. JJST THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF THIS COMPANY. One Well lets than one-twentieth of the size of the best of 27, well already producing in thi taction would produce enough oil to pay off the total capitalisation of the com pany in oris year. What will twenty 500-barrel well, on in 4aeh acre, do for ut? Or be more contervative if you with what will 20 two hundred-barrel well do for us 7 Then i only one well in the whole section producing that small amount; the average of the 27 wells is 'almost 2,000 barrel daily settled production. We not only have this valuable 20 acres, but have already let a contract to drill our first well; contractor already busy. This is not by any means our only holdings; we have 40-acres in 23-20-8, Homer, where our own complete and iiew drilling out fit already has a hole about 200 feet, ready for ten-inch casing. This casing will be set as oon a we can get it on tho ground. Mr. Bowers, jour supt. and fieldman, is confident of finding oil on this Homer extension. Thi it where tho name of the com pany originated. ' Bull Bayou Look at the structural map and examine our val uable holding in this field;' 520 acre in tection 1-11-12, Township 11, Range 9: Right on the Sabine Uplift, only a abort distance from the big Bull Bayou production. We are also drilling tMt and have our ten-inch casing set. When this well is down- to the oil tands and producing our Bull Bayou 520 acre will be worth well, you can guess yourself how .much. , . Our other holdings are a follows: , v GIBSLAND " 80 acres in section 19-18-7, right close to Gibsland. Th Early Oil Company is drilling three well close to thi tract, which make it look very good. BIENVILLE 200 acres in section 26-16-9. Oil men and geologist ay thi is right on the structure. Look like a ture producer. 40 acres in "Sabine," being in 22-8-11. This field i at tracting a lot of attention right now. Big thing are looked for soon in this locality. TEXAS 2,640 acres in Texat.
