Marriage License Records Broken In Douglas County All records in marriage licenses were broken yesterday when Mar riage License Clerk Stubbendorf in the court house reported that h had already issued more marriage . li-. censes this month than he issued last June. Last June smashed all records up to that time, with a total of 367 li censes. And there is still one day to go in December. ' Monday 28 licenses were issued. Nineteen were issued last Saturday. Usually there is a "slump" in the marriage business right after Christ mas. But not this year.- It has add ed a "boom" after Christmas. "I don't know what to make of it," said Mr. .Stubbendorf., "Must be the high cost of riving that does it.
