Quality of most of the receipts was pretty trashy and the general market was very draggy, not enough natives here to make a market but the under ton waa firm, shippers paying 115.00 for good yesrllngs. Western beef was In light supply and sellers thought the market about steady but packers were bidding lower and noth ing had been done up to a late hour. Butcher stock was slow and everything but canners sold lower. Feeder trade was 10 25c lower, the least decline being on the most desirable kinds, offerings were generally good and clearance fair. For the week desirable western beef and feeders are about steady with the commoner kinds selling 25't50c lower. Canners are steady and good cows not over 25c lower but the medium classes of butcher stock sre as much as 50c II. 00 lower in most cases.
