Tubes are manufactured by the Kokomo Rub
ber Company, which, for more than 24 years,
has been producing pneumatic tires and rubber
goods, and which has, during all of those years,
maintained for itself a reputation secWd to none
for high-grade goods and for fair and equitable
dealing.
The first pneumatic automobile tires made in
America were designed and manufactured by the
Kokomo Rubber Companyapproximately 24 years
ago. These tires were of the single tube, pneu
matic type, 36x2, anci were used on the first gaso
line automobile made i in America. This machine,
with its Kokomo Tires, is now one of the permanent
exhibits at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington,
D.C.
Wonderful progress has been made in the tire
industry since those early pioneer days. Automo
bile tire construction has kept pace with the de
velopment and perfection of the automobile itself.
Today Kokomo Tires are manufactured iri a thor
oughly modern factory, splendidly equipped with
the most modern and improved rubber-mixing ma
chinery, tire-building machines in fact, with every
device and process that can possibly aid in produc
ing the best tires in the most economical way.
There Is No Substitute for Quality
Tire prices and mileage guarantees may fluctuate, extravagant claims may be made for cheaper tire:
and tubes, but quality such as in Kokomo Tires and Tubes is beyond improvement. It, therefore, follows that
a decrease in price would mean a decrease in quality a decrease that increasing the mileage guarantee
would not improve in the least. There is no substitute for quality, the factor that enables the KOKOMO
TIRES to give more miles than any other tires manufactured.

Regardless of past service rendered, if a Kokomo
Tire proves defective even after 5000 miles, an
adjustment satisfactory to the user will be made.
