The Wishes of Every Siockholder of

NETY
Will Be Realized
For many weeks the construction work on the big general rubber fac
tory being built by the Overland Tire and Rubber Company has been rushed
with all possible speed.
Today an army of workmen is working overtime putting on the finish
ing touches in the way of completing the concrete and steel work for the entire
first unit, placing the hundreds of steel window frames, installing the most
modern heating, lighting, watering, sewerage and sprinkling systems through
out the entire works.
The electric elevators are being installed. Huge vulcanizers to take care
of 500 tires per day are being placed; powerful boilers for generating 500
horsepower are being installed in the up-to-date power house. The stack for
the power house, which is being constructed of solid concrete and steel and
which can be seen for many miles, is nearly completed. It will be 160 feet
in height.
THESE MANY ITEMS MUST BE ENTIRELY FINISHED THIS
MONTH, to make ready for the installing of the immense machinery equip
ment for the entire first unit during the month of August. Over six carloads
of this machinery have already been received and a dozen or more cars of
machinery will quickly follow. Many of these machines are huge in size,
requiring solid concrete and steel bases 10x54 feet and 15 feet in thickness.
Already carloads of the finest cotton and rubber have been purchased,
with a guaranteed September delivery. This means that the GREATEST
HEADWAY IS BEING MADE TOWARD STARTING THE WHEELS OF
THIS GREAT FACTORY, as early as possible and without delay.

Note the first unit of the great Overland Tire and Rubber factory, which is receiving the finishing touches preparatory to install
ing the immense machinery. Note the solid concrete and steel stack, nearly 160 feet in height. This unit wil! be in operation in
September. The entire factory, when completed, will be 75x300 feet, with two additions, each 60x60 feet, giving 126,000 square feet
of floor space.
BEAR IN MIND
THIS IS NOT ONLY A TIRE FACTORY, BUT A GENERAL
RUBBER GOODS MANUFACTURING PROPOSITION.
The largest and only one of its kind west of Akron, Ohio. We are
going to make tires all kinds and sizes of them, and also a complete
line of all kinds of mechanical rubber goods, such as rubber belting and
hose of all descriptions and sizes; rubber soles and heels; a complete
line of plumbing supplies, besides all kinds of surgical rubber goods,
for which there is an unlimited demand.
Rubber factories of this kind are the ones that have made such
wonderful strides in the east and have paid millions of dollars in divi
dends to the investor. v
Note the Difference Between Tire Com
panies and General Rubber Companies
A salesman for a tire company visits a town. He calls on the tire
dealer and then he is through with that town.
A salesman for a general rubber company visits a city or town. He
calli on the tire dealer with his line of tires, tubes and accessories ; on
the hardware man "with his belting and hose; on the cobbler with his
rubber heels and soles ; on the shoe merchant with his rubber shoes and
boots; on the dry goods merchant with his rubber raincoats, hats and
caps and, lastly, he calls on the druggist with his full line of surgical
rubber goods. In other words, he calls on five or six rubber dealers,
whereas an exclusive tire salesman calls on only one dealer in each
town, for the very reason that there is only one agent to deal with.
For example: A tire agent gets orders for hundreds of dollars, while
a general rubber agent gets orders amounting to thousands of dollars.
INVESTORS
if you are looking for a 'place to invest your money where it has
ample opportunity to double and perhaps triple itself within the next
three to five years, don't pass up this proposition.
Remember, that W. R. BLOWERS, who has designed and is build
ing this general rubber factory, is the same man who designed and built
the Dunlop Tire and Rubber Goods Factory of Canada in 1906. Each
investment of $500 in that factory after just two years of operation
became worth over $25,000. It is worth over $50,000 today.
Small investors, had you invested $100 in the Dunlop proposition
it would have put you on Easy Street. $500 would have made you
wealthy. You had no chance on that proposition, as it was too far
away, but NOW
Mr. Blowers Comes To Omaha
with the same kind of a proposition that was offered to and accepted
by the people of Canada in 1906, and it is his sole ambition to duplicate
that record here in Omaha as nearly as possible. He claims the oppor
tunity is greater in Omaha today than it was in 1906 in Canada, as the
demand for tires, tubes and all general rubber goods' has increased a
thousand-fold, and yet
We Claim the Tire and Rubber Industry,
Is In Its Infancy
Within the next three years every farmer and business man who
can rake up enough money to make the payment is going to own a
truck.
$3,000,000 Bonds Voted
On the 24th of June Douglas county voted $3,000,000 of road
bonds. What does it mean? It means that three public highways will
be paved across the entire county. Every county in Nebraska and Iowa
is going to follow the same program. Within the next three to five
years millions upon millions of dollars are going. to be thrown into good
road making. What will this mean? It will mean that the small cars
are going to be replaced by larger and faster cars. It will mean that
where there is one truck hauling cattle, hogs and articles of all descrip
tions today there will be fifty within three to five years and we wish to
see them all provided with good Overland rubber tires.
Do you comprehend these figures and conditions? If so, you will
want to get in on this proposition.
