Associated Charities at Orchard &
Wilhelm'a. Officers, their families
, and guests from Ft' Omaha, Ft.

luncheon. The dining room will be
made gay with many flags. Omaha
people have been such good friends
according to Col. Wuest and Oma
ha women were so kind to the men
at the forts during the war that they
are, pleased to have an opportunity
to reciprocate by aiding an Omaha
charity.
The May-time1 lunch room will
elope next Thursday. On Saturday
there will be an auction sale of the
kitchen equipment at the .lunch

Orchestra Calls Out
Omaha's Musicians.
rThe performance of the Minne
apolis symphony concerts Friday
evening, May 23, was one of the
greatest musical treats of the sea
son. Several box parties were given
at the affair.
z Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Morton
had with them in their box, their
daughter, Miss Dorothy Morton and
her fiance, Mr. H. Robert Jobst.
Mr. and "Mrs. Robert Beecher
Howell occupied one of the lower
boxes with Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Cald
well. The members of the Tuesday
Morning Musical club were among
the early ones tb take reservations,
and were well represented in the au
dience. '
Miss Frances Nash gave a box
party and after the performance en
tertained the director, Mr. Oberhoff,
at supper at the Fontenelle.
Junior Musical Club.
The Junior Musical club will give
the last program of the season Sat
urday afternoon, May 24, at 3
o'clock, at the home of Mrs. C. W.

Mrs. Charles Johannes, who Is
spending 10 days at Colfax Springs,
plans to go to New York City for
a stay of several weeks before re
turning home.
Miss Marion Kuhn of Los An
geles, who has been the guest of Mr.
and Mrs. Louise Clarke, leave June
1 for her home. Mr. and Mrs.
Clarke expect Mrs. John Kuhn in
the fall, when she will spend some
time with Mr. and Mrs. Clarke and
Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Kloke.
Mrs. Amos Thomas, who has been
spending the winter in California,
will arrive kome next week. Mts.
Thomas expects Major Thomas to
return from overseas in June. He is
with the military police at Treves,
Germany. '

New York City, where they will
meet Maj. Robert Burns, who ar
rives next wseek from overseas.
Miss Margaret Cullen, who has
been ill since April 1 at the Clarkson
hospital, suffering from after effects
of the influenza, will return to her
home in the near future.

arrive soon to spend the summer

Redecorated for the
Opening Night
The Omaha Field club has been
entirely redecorated for the open
ing dinner-dance Saturday evening,
May 24. Already 400 reservations
have been made at the club and an
especially gay time is anticipated in
the la inching of a social season of
peace.
An elaborate decorative scheme
of purple, green and blue has been
used in the living rooms, lounge
and grill The dance hall is very
gay in its color scheme of old Ro
